𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐎’𝐃𝐨n𝐨𝐠𝐡𝐮𝐞 𝐑𝐈𝐏⁣

⁣All at Wolfe Tones na Sionna were greatly saddened to hear the news of the passing of our Club Patron and Honorary Life Member Canon Brendan O’Donoghue. ⁣⁣

He was a great follower of the GAA action and always kept up to date with club activities since his arrival to Shannon in 1988. ⁣⁣

Canon Brendan was presented with Honorary Life Membership back in 2016, along with others, for his exceptional service to the club.⁣⁣

Canon Brendan’s kindness and generosity will never be forgotten. He will live on in the hearts of those who are lucky to have fond memories of him. We have lost a dear friend.⁣⁣

He was consistently there when needed, and his absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all of us in the club.⁣⁣

The club will have Guards of Honour for Canon Brendan.

Can all members available meet at 4.45pm this Sunday 7th April outside McMahons Funeral Home.

And again - at the top of Corrib Drive at 2.30pm on Monday 8th April.

Please wear club colours where possible.
