*Frequently Asked Questions:*
_What time does camp begin/end each day?_
Cúl Camps run Monday - Friday, from 10am - 2pm across the county. Parents/guardians are asked to respect these hours. Naturally all children will be supervised until collected after camp each day.
_What do children require to attend camp?_
Children must be registered in advance of attending camp. Booking closes off the Thursday before each week of camp. An "Alternative Late Booking" option is available via the attach link *https://www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie/booking/?county=Clare&venue=&week=*
_I need to make a change to my order/booking/gear - who do I contact?_
All camp orders are processed centrally by GAA HQ. Please contact culcamps@gaa.ie with your booking reference number (RX code) to arrange the required changes. Clare GAA staff have no access to same.
_I booked the wrong camp by mistake, and want to attend another camp - what do I do?_
Parents/guardians are asked to attend the desired camp, and present their RX code (booking reference) to the Head Coach on Monday morning.
_What equipment do children need to attend camp?_
Children are asked to wear sports/PE clothing as per primary school norms, along with bringing water, packed lunch & spare clothes (socks, shorts/pants & *rainjacket*).
Gaelic Football/Ladies Football Camps - gumshield/mouthguard is required per insurance & injury cover.
Camogie/Hurling Camps - hurley & helmet are required, some clubs may have spare equipment.
_Will camp go ahead if it's raining?_
As per the usual Irish Summer, it's inevitable we will experience showers & some inclement weather. It's best practice to dress children appropriate to the weather conditions each morning i.e. wet gear for rainy days, suncream/hat for hotter, sunny days. Generally speaking, camp will only be postponed in extreme conditions.
_I have a query/concern about camp - who do I contact?_
We encourage parents/guardians to speak with the camp coordinator or head coach should any issues arise. Coaches will not accept any abuse in any form - 99% of issues raised can be resolved with open & honest dialogue. All children & coaches will be reminded to report any concern direct to the Head Coach/Coordinator ASAP. If you need further assistance, please contact the GDC for Mid-Clare - Marc Ó Dómhnaill 086 191 4981.
