The past few days have been truly momentous for our club and county, filled with excitement and pride. After witnessing an incredible performance on Sunday at Croke Park, we were absolutely honoured to host the team on the first stop on their homecoming tour on Monday. The joy and pride in welcoming them back is immeasurable.
Where to start... We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this celebration possible. A special shout-out to Rory Lynch Transport for providing the trailer and to Creative Balloons for the fantastic decorations. We are grateful for the support from Clare County Council and Shannon Gardai, whose assistance was invaluable.
Our volunteers deserve a huge thank you for their unwavering dedication and help, as always. We also appreciate the staff for their significant contributions to the day and throughout the night. Peter at Mace has our gratitude for his support as well. Thank you to our good neighbours, St. Conaire’s and St. Senan’s, for lending their facilities for parking.
A very special thank you goes to Hiya Entertainment, James, Adam, and Shane Sexton, who ensured that the celebrations ran smoothly and continued to entertain everyone throughout the day and into the night. Thank you to everyone who attended; we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
Most importantly, we extend our deepest thanks & appreciation to our own club man Brian Lohan and the entire team. Your achievements have brought great honour to Clare hurling, and your visit back home to Wolfe Tones na Sionna has been a true privilege for us all. Thank you for bringing the Liam MacCarthy Cup home.
