The GAA, LGFA, and Camogie Associations have updated how Garda Vetting applications are processed.
This is a mandatory step for anyone involved in roles with underage teams, along with Safeguarding (should you need any more info please let us know)
Here’s what you need to know:
- In-person ID Check: You must meet with our Club Children’s Officer, Kathy Hogan, to verify your ID and complete the NVB1 Invitation Form
You can reach Kathy on childrensofficer.wolfetones.clare@gaa.ie. - Foireann System: All vetting is now done through the Foireann membership system — create an account or log in to start your application.
- Upload Documents: Upload the validated forms and documents as part of your online vetting application.
- Complete EVetting: You’ll receive an email invitation to complete the Garda National Vetting Bureau (NVB) form online — act quickly as the link expires after 30 days.
This new process ensures everyone’s safety and complies with legal requirements.
