Please be advised that Wolfe Tones na Sionna GAA are organising a Foundation Course.

This course is the first step on the GAA coaching ladder, and is an excellent way for any interested adult to up skill themselves.

We’re hoping to target parents, teachers & current coaches/mentors who wish to participate in the development and improvement of their respective children/pupils/players.

Whether you’ve played or never played Gaelic Games is irrelevant - any interested adult is welcome to attend!

Course Structure:

Dates: Monday 11th March 

Friday 15th

Friday 22nd

Friday 25th

Time: 7 - 9:30pm each evening 

Content: Module (Duration - HR)

Introduction (30 mins)

Fundamental Movement Skills (1-1.5 hrs)

How to Coach (1 hr)

Coaching Child, Youth & Adult (1 hr)

The 5 Essential Skills to Play (4-4.5 hrs)

Games Based Coaching (1 hr)

Conclusion (30 mins) 

Cost: €20 per person
