This was certainly a game off two halves!

An impressive first half from the boys in green and white left them with a commanding 3-6 to no score lead at half time. However, whatever Bodyke-Mills management said to their players's at half time worked and they came out a different team, as, midway through the second half the deficit was down to 2 points. A tense finished ensued but the Tones were able to hang on and secure a vital win.

Colin Riordan was unquestionably man of the match, scoring 3-3. Oisin O'Rourke, Darragh O'Callaghan, Tadhg Fitzgerald and Ronan Walshe all put in solid displays that helped secure the best possible start to the year.
