DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS SATURDAY 11TH MAY @ 6PM

Your help is needed, our 2019 Hurling Championship Last Man Standing Competition will begin in just under two weeks. The rules of how it works are listed below. Basically for the upcoming hurling championship a selection is made each week of a team to win, if that team wins you keep going to the next round and pick another team to win ( you can’t pick the same team again ) and so on.

The entry fee is €10 ( once off only ) and that’s it , the committee will then control the rest. Please if you can help to sell them contact Mike Riordan on 086-0268819 or by email on riordan_m@johncrane.com.

Please note the following exceptions for this competition:

After Round 1, you can only pick a team that you have picked before if you have no alternative.  Example: If you are still standing at the All-Ireland Final and the fixture is Galway v Limerick and: You have not picked either team before→ you have a choice of either team.  You have picked both teams before →You have a choice of either team. You have picked Limerick before but not Galway → you must pick Galway. You have picked Galway before but not Limerick → you must pick Limerick.

The All Ireland Preliminary Quarter Finals will not be included in the schedule of fixtures.

Rules:

It’s simple; just pick the winner

·         Once a selection is made, you will not have the ability to change it.

·         You may not pick the same team to win more than once during the tournament. See exception above

·         All selections must be received no later than 6pm on the Friday of each weekends fixtures. All picks are to be sent by text to 086-0268819.

·         Should you forget to make your selection in any week, you will automatically be assigned the first team that you have not selected in alphabetical order. Once a team is automatically selected, you will not have the ability to change the selection.

·         Each participant will be sent an email and or text message at the beginning of each week with the games and teams to choose from.

·         The winner will be the 'Last Man Standing'... the person or persons who have correctly picked a winning team every week and is the only person or persons left in the competition

·         An email and or text message will be sent out every game week to each participant outlining the status of all the participants in the competition.

·         It is 10 euro per entry.

·         Cash Prize will be €1000.

·         Wolfe Tones na Sionna GAA Last Man Standing” organising committee reserve the right to amend these rules at any time. Any such revision will be binding and effective immediately on posting of notification of such changes on the web site. Your continued use of this game will constitute acceptance of the rules.
