Wolfe Tones na Sionna
A Phase 4 GAA Healthy Club 2020-2021
‘Let’s Talk Initiative’
Have you got 20 minutes to spare? You could potentially save a life.
Wolfe Tones na Sionna has always prided itself on looking after the health and well-being of our members and indeed the wider community of Shannon both mentally & physically. Baring this in mind, with current restrictions that might allow us a little bit more free times – we decided to reach out to you to promote and invite you to take part in training provided free by www.ohana.ie
Help Save a life – this course only takes 20 minutes to complete and is free of charge. It focuses on breaking stigma and encouraging open conversations.
The training will provide you with the tools to enable you to:
1. Identify the signs that someone may be suicidal
2. Employ the correct language in asking the appropriate questions
3. Direct that person to the appropriate help.
It can be summarized as ‘Show you Care, Ask the Question, Make the Call.’
This will help save lives. Simply logon to www.ohana.ie and follow the steps.
We would appreciate any members or the wider community who take part in the training to share their certificate on their social media and include us by tagging any of our social media platforms:
